The CLASS project would like to invite you to participate in the ISLE/CLASS workshop on natural interactivity and multimodality (NIMM) resources on 19-20 April in Stuttgart, Germany. ISLE is a joint EU/US project on International Standards for Language Engineering. ISLE has three working groups one of which is the NIMM working group. The ISLE NIMM working group focuses on corpora, coding schemes and tools in support of NIMM data annotation. The workshop is a forum for presenting and discussing state-of-the-art data resources, annotation schemes, and annotation tools in the NIMM area. We are happy to invite presentations on these topics from all ongoing HLT projects. If you want to make a presentation, please send an email to laila@nis.sdu.dk and/or nob@nis.sdu.dk by 9 March 2001 in which you indicate the presentor, title and summary of the presentation. We intend presentations to have a duration of 20 minutes followed by a short discussion. If we receive too many contributions, the ISLE NIMM group will act as a programme committee in order to compose a maximally interesting program. The venue which is located fairly close to the airport is
