Postdoc and research opportunities in computer graphics and information visualization

The Information Visualization team at the Architectures and Models for Interaction Group (http://www.limsi.fr/Scientifique/ami/) is looking for 6 month or 1 year postdocs and/or research engineers to participate in a number of research contracts funded by national programs.

The main research domains are:

• Visual analytics,
• Dynamic filtering,
• 3D audio and graphics,
• Infovis.

Preference will be given to candidates with experience in one or more of the following areas: Interactive Computer Graphics, Human/Computer Interaction, Information Visualization, Tangible Interfaces, or Augmented Reality.

Applicants should be experienced programmers and be familiar with the Unix environment, and be able to speak and write in English.

Contract duration: 6 to 12 months (between Feb 2007 and Aug 2008).

Location: LIMSI/CNRS Orsay, France. The laboratory is part of a large scientific campus located 25km South of Paris, and accessible by subway (30mn from Paris Center).
