Presentation of the group AMI

The Research team « Architectures and Models for Interaction » (AMI), iinitiated in 2000 at LIMSI-CNRS, is dedicated to the study of the interactional phenomena that occur between humans and computer systems. The Scientific works of the AMI team are organized along three main topics:

• The topic « Modalities Interactions and Ambient » (MIA) is focused on issues related to the 'physicality' of interaction.
• The topic « Embodied Conversational Agents and Virtual Humans » (ECA&VH) is related to the conversationality, embodiement and affective dimensions of interaction.
• The topic « Virtuality Interaction Design and Art » (VIDA) is focused on the productive interdisciplinary relationships withe the domains of Design and Arts.
